Flora and fauna of Chile: the problematic today

Today I want to speak about two species that exists in Chile, the huemul and the pudú.

The huemul is an endangered species and is one of three species of native servants living in Chile. The main reason for their extinction are: poaching, habitat loss due to human activities, attacks by domestic dogs, lack of food because of overgrazing to  and the transmission of disease from domestic animals. 

Another servant of Chile but not in extinction, is listed as a vulnerable species is the Pudú, this animal is the smallest native deer Chile ( and indeed one of the world's smallest deer ). Within the scientific sector the species is also known from Pudu. The main threats, which are those that have contributed to, but mainly native forest felling and forest fires. The attacks by domestic their decline include poaching for meat, habitat loss due to human activities are another major cause of death of pudú . Disease transmission by domestic livestock ,do as also been identified as a possible cause of threat.

The forest industry and industrial-type livestock production are the hardest on the flora and fauna. The dominant groups must change poor legal frameworks that exist today for effective legal frameworks that aim to promote a organic farming and a forestry industry that not deforested native forests. 

FARC, America's oldest guerrilla

Hello, today I have to do a summary of an article relate with the career that I study. I am studing sociology, in this career is very important to known what is happens in the politics of other countries. I think is more important known about the politic success of Latin America, for that reason today I choose for talk about an article related with government of Colombia and FARC. The theme of the article is the liberation of a North American backpacking in Colombia from FARC guerrilla. The meaning of FARC in Spanish is “Fuerzas armadas revolucionarias de Colombia”, and FARC is America's oldest guerrilla. FARC began fighting against Colombia's government in the 1960s.

The backpacking name is Kevin Scott. He had more than four months in captivity. With the help of government of Colombia and other organizations (International Committee of the Red Cross) the prisoner was released. These institutions pushed to FARC for the release of Kevin Scott.

The importance of the news is that FARC, is currently engaged in peace talks with the Colombian government. Norway and Cuba are helping to mediate the talks. The conversation are taking place in Havana, but the situation is difficult.

Chilean Movies that represent the society

In Chile exist a lot of young o new directors that make movies in where they express a reflection of our culture. But today I want to speak about one director, this director is a new director in Chile, his name is Sebastian Silva, he born on 1979 and in the last five years he maked a lot of movies:

·         La vida me mata (2007)

·         La nana (2009)

·         Gatos viejos, junto con Pedro Peirano (2010)

·         Magic, Magic (2013)

·         Crystal Fairy (2013)

The most famous movie of the list is “La nana”, this movie was very very popular when was the premiere and when was in the cinema, in this movie the director reflect the classism in Chile.

But today a want speak about his first movie, this is “The life kill me” or in Spanish “La vida me mata”, when I saw this movie, I liked a lot, I think that is very good and is very existencialist, have a absurd sense or humor. I think that is expression of the empty that existe in the Chilean life in the 90 decade, represent the lonely and the without sense of that exist in the persons in this society.

In general exist a lot of chilean movies that represent the problems of this society, buy exist movies that are very bad and don´t have sense like “Sexo con amor”.

punk music

I think that the Punk´s bands are the expression of broken parameters. Stooges, The Ramones, the clash make music that broken parameters.

Punk broken parameters in many orders, social parameters, music parameters, fashion parameters. Broke social parameters because in general they don´t believed in the system, they was very critical with the social norms and conservative moral. They broke music parameters in many forms, for example The Ramones played music very simple, they don´t change the musical notes in all the songs, and their song was very short. This music broke fashion parameters, this is obviously, their hercut, clothes, boots, they have a particular form to express .

The punk in general is related with the politic, many bands was from the left side or are anarchy, for example: Ramones, The clash, Sex pistols. Some of the most famous singers was Sid vicious from sex pistols was more nihilist, joe drummer from the clash, he was defender of the people (black people, workman,
workwoman, etc) and Iggy pop (he still alive), he was a protopunk´s singer, is a liberty.

In Chile I think that Los Prisioneros broken parameters, they was very ironic to represent the Chilean.society.

A country that I would like go

The country that I would like go is Argentina, because this country is very nice, they have amazing landscape, the people is very polite. Other important reason to visit Argentina is that I don´t spend a lot of money to travel to this place the reason is that Argentina is next to Chile.Argentina is a Latin-American country, but is similar to some countries in Europe. I think that Argentina is the most “Europe” country in the region (and Uruguay to), I believe that because the level of the life in Argentina is very good, they have a good public system, de university education is free, and the medical system is very good. The inequality in Argentina is not very much compared to Chile o Brazil. In the south of Argentina there is a place that I want to visit, this place is “hippie” town and the name of the town is “El bolsón”. Is a very funny place, the people sell beautiful craft in any places and in the center establish a big fair of very original and beautiful craft, in the principal square the people dance, paint, act and do theater.  I like live there because I think this town is a calm place to stay for a time. 

My ideal job

My ideal job would have to be a job that I can work helping people or animals, for instance, veterinary or occupational therapy. I think free time is important in a job, with that I mean that the job don´t during all the day. I want a Job that let me time for do others things, like painting, do exercises, practice yoga, do domestic tasks like cooking and repair my house.

Today some people need to others people for cleaning their house, for cooking their food or washing their clothes. The reason of this is that most people had job that spend or demand a lot of time. I think other people should not do things for me, I think is not a good idea that other people do things that are my responsibility. Because of that I think is important have a part time Job.

One skill that I need to develop for this job (veterinary or occupational therapy) is be patient. I think I would be good in this job, because I think I have social vocation. I think is not so difficult find this kind of job, but I think that sociology is not the perfect career for do that because; this career is focuses in studying groups and not in helping people. The sociologist do research or studies about the society.
